Nick the Tile Man and his associates has performed tile repair work for known and famous businesses such as Mercedes Benz of Manhattan,  Webster Hall New York, and Forest Park Carousel Forest Hills New York. Here are some pictures:

Mercedes Benz Of Manhattan

Mercedes Benz Of Manhattan has 4 floors of porcelain floor tiles 21inches x 21 inches square.  Twenty eight (28) floor tiles were crack due to improper installation and were located in different floors and locations.  Our assignment was to remove the damaged porcelain floor tiles, chicle away the dried cement, and install new porcelain floor tiles.  We had to grout the tiles and clean up the mess before the store opened in the morning.  We worked 4 hours at night when the store was closed.

Webster Hall New York City

Webster Hall , built in 1886, is one of the oldest buildings in New York City.  Today it is one of the largest nightclubs that can accommodate many different concerts during the course of a day.  It has a basement plus three (3) floors where you can entertain. Most of the tile work is original around the turn of the century; some had to be renovated due to severe damage.  As you look at these pictures, you can see a tile floor over 100 years old next to the new tile job Nick the Tile Man and associates performed.  We cut the original damaged ceramic floor tiles in a straight line and replaced the area with 8″ x 8″ black ceramic floor tiles leading up to the 100 plus year old urinals.  You judge the job we performed.

Forest Park Carousel, Forest Hills NY

One of the oldest carousel in New York City will be opening to the public once again.  Next to the Forest Park Carousel is the concession stand where food will be served to the public.  And its Nick the Tile Man and company that installed over 1500 square feet of ceramic tiles inside the concession stand.  The installed tiles are the subway tiles (3″ x 6″) and a larger version of subway tiles, 4 inches by 17 inches long.  When the concession stand opens to the public, you’ll be able to see the ceramic tiles in its clean and beautiful style of that “old” fashion look!
