Remodeling Your Bathroom, I Can Help
Step By Step To Remodeling Your Bathroom.
Having the skills of a Tile Repair Specialist and a HANDYMAN, helped us to transform this bathroom from a disaster area into a work of art. Here I will show you step by step of removing the old broken down bathroom and replacing it with a beautiful brand new bathroom. In order to shower with the old bathroom, towels had to be placed on the floor so leaks wouldn’t penetrate into the basement, and a plastic bag was taped to cover the old shower body wall because tiles fell off the wall. It was literally a big mess! Prepare yourself, you will not believe the way it was to the way its looking today. Here are some before pictures of the old bathroom that had water leaks from the ceiling to leaks going to the basement, crack ceramic tiles, crack and broken floor tiles, broken shower doors, and ceramic tiles that fell off the wall. This bathroom was crying out for help.

Next Step, Removing The Old And Prepare For The New!
The next step was to remove the old bathroom tiles, tub, vanity, medicine cabinet, walls, floor and ceiling. We removed all damaged wood stubs and replaced them with new studs. We repaired the floor by adding 3/4 inch plywood and 1/2 inch cement backer board to the floor. The plumbers replaced the old tub with a new five foot long shower base. New water lines and waste lines were installed along with a new shower body. Then we installed 1/2 inch cement backer board all around the shower base and 1/2 inch green back sheet rock for walls and ceiling. We were now ready to tile the walls and floor.
